The Recreation Centers of Sun City is pleased to announce that tickets are on sale now for the 2015 Winter/Spring Sundial Concert Series that is certain to foot the bill for your entertainment needs. These concerts are open to the general public. Tickets are $13 for RCSC Cardholders and $15 for the general public and can be purchased at the Lakeview Center Clubs Office or by phone at 623-561-4660.
Hot August Nights, a tribute is Neil Diamond, kicks off the series on Wednesday, January 7 at 7pm. Dean Colley, backed by his awesome band, has the look, moves and sound of Neil himself. You’ll be taken on a musical journey of Diamond’s greatest hits such as “Cracklin’ Rosie,” “Cherry Cherry,” and “Holly Holy” along with other audience favorites.
On Wednesday, January 14, December ’63 will hit the Sundial stage at 7pm performing the music of Frankie Vallie and the Four Seasons. Fans packed the Sun Bowl last time they appeared in Sun City and we’re pleased to bring them back for this encore appearance. You’ll hear the one-of-a-kind classics that have been thrilling audience for decades including the hits from the acclaimed musical, The Jersey Boys. This promises to be an evening full of fun times for all.
We change gears just a bit and offer a Sunday afternoon show on January 18 at 3pm when Dana Daniels brings to the stage “A Riot of Comedy Magic.” Dana is fast becoming a familiar face and his many television appearances include Evening at the Improv and CBS Morning Program. He was also recently featured on “The Secret World Magicians, “Masters of Illusions,” and Lance Burton’s “Taking It To The Streets.” Get ready to enjoy some astonishing entertainment with this act.
We’ve got more great shows lined up in February and March that include tributes to Tim McGraw and Shania Twain, Barbra Streisand, Neil Sedaka, The Eagles and Tom Jones in addition to one-man shows by Mark Cordes (as The Spouse Whisperer) and Todd Oliver and his K-9 friends.
Doors to the Sundial Auditorium open one hour prior to each show with general admission seating. Video projection screens guarantee that every seat is now a great seat. Gourmet food vendors arrive 1-1/2 hours before show time for your dining pleasure as well.
The Sundial Recreation Center is located at 14800 N. 103rd Ave. The Clubs Office is located on the lower level of the Lakeview Recreation Center located at 10626 W. Thunderbird Blvd. in Sun City.
