FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Get Down to the Sun Bowl for the Annual RCSC Easter Egg Hunt
The Recreation Centers of Sun City invites RCSC Members/Cardholders and their escorted guests to come to the Sun Bowl on Saturday, April 8, 2023, from 9am to noon for the annual Easter Egg hunt.
There will be plenty of fun for everyone – eggs, candy, sweets and more. We’ll have a petting zoo, arts & crafts projects to make and take home along with face painting. Come with the whole family. Remember to bring your smart phone or camera for special photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny!
We promise to have lots of eggs for the age-restricted egg hunts which will begin promptly at 9:15am for children ages 2 to 4, followed by ages 5 to 8 and following that, ages 9 to 12. Please note that registration is not required to participate.
On Easter morning, we’ll be back at the Sun Bowl for our annual Sunrise Service beginning at 7:00am with services provided by United Church of Sun City. Bring your lawn chair and take part in this celebration with family, friends, and neighbors as we observe this joyous holiday the way Sun City AZ has for over 50 years.
After a full day of chocolate bunnies, Peeps and more, come back with friends and family for great music and lots of dancing when “The Fabulous Decades” takes to the Sun Bowl stage. The concert begins at 6:30pm and is free for RCSC Members/ Cardholders and their guests. Don’t forget to bring your lawn chairs or blanket.
In observance of the Easter holiday, please be aware that all RCSC Offices at Lakeview Center, the Sundial Events & Entertainment Office and the Sun City Visitors Center at Bell will close at noon on Good Friday (April 7), reopening on Monday, April 10. Please note that all recreation centers, golf courses and bowling lanes will be open regular hours over the Easter weekend for your use and enjoyment.
The Sun Bowl open-air amphitheater is located at 10220 N. 107th Ave. in beautiful Sun City AZ, just south of Peoria Ave.
