Camera Guild of Sun City

Our club serves the needs of photographers at all levels of experience. We provide education and real world experience on every facet of photography with special emphasis on both legacy and digital technology, beginner and advance camera mastery and computer graphic editing.

Our facilities include a full digital lab for image processing and printing, slideshow development and presentations, matting and mounting and special lighting equipment for portrait and still life imaging.

Our classes are scheduled as requested by our members. Examples of the types of classes include basic camera familiarization, composition, advance DSLR cameras, low light techniques, multiple exposure photography for panorama and improving high contrast situations, Photoshop, Elements and other computer applications and field trips to refine skills in actual field conditions. Print and projected image competitions are held monthly. Each monthly general meetings include a presentation by a professional photographer. We also hold weekly member dinners, monthly lunch/slide show-and-tells as well as user forums on a variety of subjects.
