Sun City residents who are RCSC Members are encouraged to attend this year’s Annual RCSC Membership Meeting which will be on Saturday, January 25, at the Sundial Auditorium from 9:00a.m. to 2:00p.m.
This annual event includes presentations on 2013 Highlights, 2014 Goals, 2014 Annual Operating and Capital Budget, and the “official” Membership Meeting, which begins at 1:30p.m.
This year’s keynote speaker is Jason Schechterle, who will tell his remarkable story – Beyond the Flames. As a Phoenix police officer, his life took an unexpected and, at the time, tragic turn when his patrol car was struck from behind and burst into flames. Once freed from the wreckage, crews found a man with no skin, no face and no resemblance to the man that once was. After 52 surgeries, Jason began his long and painful recovery. You will be moved by his fight for life, his amazing recovery, and the inspiration that enables him to persevere.
Members may register for the annual membership meeting at 9:00a.m. and again at 12:30p.m. Residents should remember to bring their RCSC Membership cards. Donuts and coffee will be available at 9:00a.m. and a free lunch of hot dogs and chips will be served by RCSC Management staff at 12:30pm.
Door prizes at this event will include a flat screen TV, overnight casino trips, free golfing and bowling certificates and much more. Winners must be present at the time of drawing.
The Sundial Recreation Center is located at 14801 N. 103rd Ave. in Sun City.
