FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The RCSC Events & Entertainment Department is seeking a number of volunteers to help with upcoming concerts and events starting soon at various Sun City AZ venues. Your assistance in helping with a variety of assignments such as attendee entry monitoring, crowd observation and equipment operation will go a long way in helping us continue to bring great attractions here for all to enjoy while keeping costs within budget.
The upcoming events and tasks we need volunteers for include:
Dive-In Movie – Saturday, August 17, 2019 (Sundial Pool; Arrival Time 5:15pm)
- Door Greeter – Check RCSC Photo Cards for entry/admittance
- Ice Cream Servers – Serve ice cream & help keep condiments stocked
- Medical – Must be retired and not currently licensed
Casino Night – Saturday, September 14, 2019 (Sundial Auditorium; Arrival Time 3pm)
- Door Greeter – Check RCSC Photo Cards for admittance
- Servers – Help prepare and serve hot dogs, ice cream
- Medical – Must be retired and not currently licensed
Sun Bowl 2019 Fall Concerts – Sundays, September 28 through November 10; Arrival Time 2 hours prior to show)
- Hand Stampers – Check RCSC Photo Cards & Stamp Hands upon entry
- Event Monitors – Stand or sit in designated areas to observe crowd for trips and falls
- Medical – Must be retired and not currently licensed
As an incentive, anyone volunteering for four (4) or more events will be offered a Complimentary Gift Certificate for a One Night Stay for Two at Mazatzal Hotel & Casino, a One Night Stay for Two at Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino or a possible trip on one of Free Spirit Vacations local tours. If you are unable to use the certificate, you can gift it to a friend. You will also receive an invitation to the RCSC Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon held in October to thank all the volunteers who give their time and talents to helping make RCSC successful and fun for all.
We’ll have other opportunities later in the season when we’ll be asking for additional volunteers. Stay tuned for further details.
