Oakmont Needle Arts & Crafts Club

Knit, crochet, needlepoint, embroidery, counted cross-stitch, felting, tatting, scrapbooking, and any other arts and crafts you enjoy. Meetings are Thursdays, 8-11:30 am, in the Auditorium. Events include: light breakfast/snacks, potlucks, ice cream socials, pizza parties, semi-annual white elephant sales, holiday parties, guest speakers, and open houses.

Work on a current or new project with us. Members donate various projects to charitable organizations such as Hospice of the Valley, veterans’ organizations and homeless shelters. Donations of yarn and craft supplies, including greeting card covers, gladly accepted. We participate in the annual Sun City Arts & Craft Festival in November. New members always welcome.

Join us this Thursday, February 27, to make placemats from greeting cards. Next Thursday, March 5, we will be making a St. Patrick’s Day craft. Cost is $4.00. Call today to reserve your spot in class.

If you enjoy knitting, crocheting, needlepoint, embroidery, scrap-booking, card making or any other arts and crafts, you are welcome at our club. Classes every first and second Thursday of the month except for April and October, which is when we hold our semi-annual White Elephant Sales.
