Sun City Players Community Theater:

Monthly Meetings: We meet the third Monday of the month (Sept to May), 7:00 pm, at Mountain View Center, for a social program of skits, music or storytelling. There is no charge other than the yearly membership of $10. RCSC members and guests are always welcome.
Clubhouse: On scheduled Wednesdays at 9:30 am (Oct-Apr), at Mountain View Rec Center, we socialize and offer special workshops on all aspects of theater such as acting, directing, storytelling and much more.
Readers Theater Ensemble: We meet twice a month on the second and fourth Saturdays at 10 am at Fairway Rec Center. If you are interested in participating in theater without the hassle of memorizing lines, this is ideal for you, as you read directly from scripts. RSVP to Ray Schiel at 323-336-5437 or scpct.rte@gmail.com to confirm that we are meeting that Saturday, so that enough materials are available.
Storytelling: This is an important talent we discover, foster and promote. We present a Song and Story program several times a year.
Sun City Sings!: By becoming a member of our newly formed mixed chorus under the directorship of Roy Spicer and accompanist Linda Shirck, you can participate in several concerts during the year,
Our club produces two to three main stage productions each year with beautifully designed sets, props and costumes. It takes many volunteers to produce these shows, both on the stage and behind the scenes. There are ample opportunities to help out in set design, set construction, lighting, sound, and costume design, as well as participate as ticket sellers, ushers or actors.
