Rockhound Club & Mineral Museum

rockhounds

The Rockhound Club celebrates its 60th anniversary as an RCSC charted club in 2023. The club offers monthly activities to include field trips around Arizona for rock hunting, monthly meetings with world class speakers, and show and tell sessions to share and learn.

The club also manages the Mineral Museum located at the Sun Dial Recreation Center.  The museum is admission free and has over 1000 specimens on display to include a ‘must see’ fluorescent room. The museum also has a gift shop. All RCSC cardholders, guests and visitors are welcome to visit. The museum is staffed with Rockhound Club members who are eager to give you a tour of the museum.  Groups of six or more, please email the museum to make special arrangements for touring the museum.

Membership is open to all RCSC Cardholders.
