The Recreation Center of Sun City, Inc. is pleased to announce the anticipated completion of the South Golf Course Pro Shop which will fully open on Wednesday, May 8, 2019.
The South Course will be closed on Monday and Tuesday, May 6-7, 2019 for fairway vericutting.
However, RCSC Cardholders and Sun City AZ golfers are invited to attend a “sneak peek” Open House on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 from noon until 4pm. An expanded patio and larger inside seating area will make the 19th hole more appealing for golfers and residents alike.
The open house will feature food and beverage specials throughout the afternoon. You’ll also have an opportunity to take a free limited “test drive” on the new TrackMan Golf Simulator. Those giving it a go will be entered into a closest to the pin contest.
Using the simulator, golfers can select a course, set the wind and weather options and play a round with friends (up to 8 at a time) no matter what the weather. Or work on improving your game with detailed feedback provided on a golfer’s swing, ball speed and more.
“As the RCSC Director of Golf & Grounds, I know the entire staff is excited to provide golfers with this long requested new facility that will be well used by those who routinely golf at South. The addition of the simulator to the RCSC array of amenities will provide both golfers and non-golfers another amazing sport experience,” Brian Duthu stated.
The South Golf Course is located at 11000 N. 103rd Ave. in Sun City.
