We play the “Pennies from Heaven” version of Canasta. Qualifications for the Canasta Club of Sun City is a valid RCSC card and basic card playing skills. If you don’t know how to play our version of canasta, don’t fret! We will teach and guide you.
We meet every Friday, year around, at Oakmont Recreation Center Auditorium (10725 W. Oakmont Drive). Table assignments begin at 9:15am and the doors open at 9:30am. Please arrive by 9:15am to sign in so play can start promptly. Annual dues are $5.00 and weekly play is $1.00. Four cash prizes are awarded each week. The coffee pot is always on and members may provide snacks if they so desire. The first Friday of every month we provide Root Beer Floats. We also have an annual Summer Survivor’s Luncheon, Holiday Luncheon, and New Year’s luncheon. Open to all RCSC card holders.
