RCSC Fitness Centers to Reopen on Friday, August 28, 2020

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

RCSC has been following the guidance of Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) and Governor Ducey’s Executive Orders for COVID-19. In the ADHS August 10th reopening guidance, RCSC fitness centers were required to stay closed until Maricopa County met Moderate Reopening Status in the following three metrics: 1) Cases per 100,000 individuals, 2) Percent positivity, and 3) Hospital Visits for COVID-like illnesses in the region. Late Wednesday, August 26, Dr. Cara Christ, indicated that Maricopa County would most likely meet the metrics when the data was posted the morning of Thursday, August 27, 2020. After confirming that Maricopa County met the metrics, RCSC submitted the attestations for each of our fitness locations. We will complete our final fitness center walk-throughs to confirm all the attested requirements are completed. RCSC Fitness Centers will open Friday, August 28 at normal operating hours with limited capacity.
