Cards to be Required at Upcoming RCSC Events

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

In an effort to address concerns expressed by RCSC Cardholders about the increasing attendance at free RCSC events by non-residents, the Board of Directors has requested that staff begin implementing changes to further enforce the “RCSC Cardholders and their escorted guests only” policy.

For the remainder of the Sun Bowl Spring Concert series (last show is May 10) RCSC staff may randomly request to see RCSC Member or Privilege Cards with photo (no key fobs accepted) from those attending. Those unable to produce a recreation card may be requested to leave the premises.

Beginning this summer, RCSC Cardholders will be required to present either their Member or Privilege Cards (with photo) prior to entry at any non-ticketed (free) event at Sundial Center and all guests must be with the Cardholder at the time of entry.

“We have heard from many Members that they are no longer attending shows at the Sun Bowl because so many outside people are getting there so early that they are finding it difficult to find places to sit,” stated RCSC General Manager Jan Ek. “Since free RCSC events are actually paid for by RCSC Cardholders through the payment of their annual assessments, the Board felt it was time to make changes so that our residents are able to enjoy the entertainment Sun City AZ is proud to offer to our residents.”

RCSC Cardholders are encouraged to call the Clubs & Activities Office at the Lakeview Center at 623-561-4660 if they have any questions.
