If you enjoy knitting, crocheting or crafting in other ways, we have a great suggestion – join the Sundial Craft Club!
Some members are experts and others are just beginners but we all have a great time in fellowship and in creating items for others. Twice a week we meet complete projects that benefit the New Leaf Crisis Center, Phoenix Veterans Hospital and Stitches of Love – all organizations that serve persons in need.
Stop by our club on the upper level of Sundial Recreation Center. You will be dazzled by all the colorful items – crocheted slippers, lovely shoulder shawls, handmade book marks and lap robes to mention just a few. There are also craft items of beads, plastic canvas and embroidery. New members are always welcome! Creating all these items requires a lot of materials and we gratefully accept donations of yarn.
