Lakeview Center / Lakeview Lanes / Viewpoint Lake
- Two Viewpoint Lake wall repairs will be made once the necessary repair products arrive. One is small and will only take about an hour to complete but the other is very large and is being reviewed by a structural engineer before repairs are made. (Estimated Cost for these repairs – $4,000)
- The Cardholder Services and Clubs offices renovation project is now complete. Both offices have moved back into their new space and are serving cardholders. I would like to thank RCSC cardholders for their patience and the Lakeview staff for all their hard work during this project. Contractors were Ken McIntyre Construction, Accel Electric, CCBG Architectural, D.H. Pace and Resource Flooring. (Cost – $209,196)
- Remodel work at Lakeview Lanes is nearing completion with the new bowlers’ area flooring installed, carpet trim-outs completed and new ball racks and counters set up. The new handrails are now installed on the stairs and the divider railings between the counters are being fabricated. Contractors include DFG Builders, Resource Flooring and the RCSC Skilled Trades Team. (Cost – $55,248)
- The re-carpeting of the Lakeview mini golf course is now completed. Contractor is Floors at the Arizona Design Center. (Cost – $20,781)
- Construction and deployment of pipe palaces fish habitat into Viewpoint Lake occurred the week of October 26, 2015. Construction and deployment of fingerling fortress fish habitat and hanging fish habitat occurred the week of November 2, 2015. Construction and deployment of catfish condos habitat occurred the week of November 19, 2015. This completes the total fish habitat project for Viewpoint Lake. Additionally, approximately 500-600 lbs. of 10”–13” rainbow trout will be stocked in Viewpoint Lake once the lake temperature decreases. This will most likely happen in December 2015.
Sundial Center
- The small pole lights around Sundial Center have now been replaced with new LED fixtures. Many positive comments have been received about these fixtures and the improved lighting. Contractor was Accel Electric. (Cost – $14,109)
- The broken florescent light fixtures in the clubs display cases at Sundial will be replaced soon with new LED lighting. Contractor is Accel Electric. (Cost – $11,312)
- A $10,502 APS Rebate was received by the RCSC for the Sundial pool/spa LED lighting project. The rebate brought the total cost for this project from $55,425 to $44,923 since there were no contingency costs associated with this project.
Bell Center / Bell Lanes

Fairway Center
- The Best Friends Dog Club shade canopy and artificial turf project is now completed. Contractors included Arizona Bag and Shade, Sun Burst Landscaping, and CCBG Architectural. (Cost – $80,909)
Mt.View Center / Sun Bowl
- A new T-Mobile Monopalm Cell Tower is currently being installed at the Sun Bowl property just west of the existing cell tower. The new site will not cause the RCSC to lose any parking spaces as these are desperately needed for RCSC Sun Bowl shows.
Skilled Trades Department
- The RCSC Skilled Trades department completed 127 work orders during the first three weeks of November 2015.
Centers Operations
- Marinette successfully hosted a Pickleball tournament from Tuesday, November 3, 2015 through Friday, November 6, 2015. The Marinette staff did a stellar job meeting the needs of the 330 participants during this event.
- Bell Metal and Wood Shops held a Halloween party which included watching movies and playing mini golf at the Bell mini golf course. The Bell staff really enjoyed serving this wonderful group of cardholders.
- Although the days are getting shorter don’t forget you can still play mini golf under the lights at any one of our four courses. The locations are Mountain View, Lakeview, Sundial, and Bell.
