The men and women of Lakeview Woodworkers Club would like to introduce you to our shop. It’s a little smaller shop with some big ideas that produce beautiful works of wood.
If you can imagine it, we have the tools to make it. We’ll also make sure you know how to use them. The experience level of our members varies from master craftsman to novices looking for a new venture. Whatever you’re level of experience the club has a place for you. If you need help or advice our members are always willing to help. Two monitors are on the floor at all times to ensure safety for all. Lathe and scroll saw classes are available upon request.
This is the perfect place to make new friends while pursuing your hobby. The first Tuesday of each month (Oct- April) at 9 am we have a shop meeting. It’s a time to have some coffee, donuts and talk shop. The Craft Fair is in November which is always exciting. December we vote on the club’s board of directors, a president, vice president secretary and treasurer. Anyone is welcome to run if they want and everyone has a vote. February is our annual club dinner. It’s a chance to see if you can recognize people without sawdust on them. Come on over and let us show you around. We’re at 10626 W Thunderbird Blvd.
