The Sun City Birding Club is entering its ninth year. We are a small, friendly, and casual group who are occasionally known to enjoy a bagel and coffee before, or a picnic after birding. We are open to all RCSC card holders and welcome all birding skill levels from beginner to expert. We average about 3-4 field trips a month year-round and visit many 0of the other top 100 sites in Maricopa County. Here are a few examples of the wonderful sites we enjoy: Boyce Thompson Arboretum, Hassayampa River Preserve, and the Riparian Preserve at the Gilbert water Ranch. Nearby birding venues are also quite popular, such as Rio Vista & Paloma Community Parks as well as the Lake View Recreation Center Lake.
