The Leather Craft Club has been established to provide Sun City residents a means to develop their skills working in leather. Our members work in traditional techniques – lacing, sewing, carving, molding, dyeing, stamping and embossed leather artwork to create custom leather accessories, clothing, artwork and jewelry. New members participate in a leather craft basics class and we have members available to provide further assistance in basic tooling and stamping of leather. Before you know it you’ll have reached a level of competency to begin making your own projects.
Our club has a well-stocked tool room for all members to use and an inventory of leather product kits available for purchase at member price. We also stock raw leather for those who want to branch out and create their own custom projects.
Please stop in our club room any time during our operating hours and someone will give you an introduction to our club. Our annual dues are $20 plus an additional one time fee of $30 for orientation and leather craft instruction (includes initial project kit and handbook).
