Ring That Bell Tradition Continues at Bell on July 3

Recreation Centers of Sun City is pleased to announce the 37th Annual Ring That Bell Ceremony on Friday, July 3, 2015 in the Bell Center Social Halls beginning at 9:00 a.m.

This patriotic, time-honored tradition celebrates our nation’s birthday in unique Sun City AZ style with our very own Uncle Sam (portrayed by resident Mike Lindquist) serving as the Master of Ceremonies.

However, the celebration doesn’t stop there. The fun continues in the Social Halls for RCSC Cardholders and their escorted guests as we salute America with an old fashioned “indoor” picnic from 11a.m. to 2p.m.

There will be games and prizes, music and dancing and lots more in the Social Halls so there will be plenty of good times and fun for everyone – guaranteed!

This year we’ll be giving away all-American picnic fare – hot dogs and potato chips – with donations being accepted for RCSC Management Team’s 2015 fundraising beneficiary, The Sun City Fire Department, whose firefighters will also be on-hand to help lead the Pledge of Allegiance during the Ring That Bell ceremony.

No birthday party is complete without cake and we’ll have that, too! What’s more, there will be free bowling, shuffleboard, darts and billiards over at Bell Lanes to keep everyone having fun on a hot afternoon.

So why not stop by and join in the fun? It is certain to be an all-American, only in Sun City AZ kind of celebration.

Bell Recreation Center is located at 16820 N. 99th Ave. in Sun City.
