Anyone with a valid RCSC membership is eligible to join. Beginners are welcome. Members can hone their acting skills by performing in the style of “old time” radio shows, reading from scripts, and acting out parts. We provide a great training ground for new actors.
The Sun City Readers Ensemble meets every Friday (including summers) from noon to 2pm in Social Hall #3 at Lakeview Center. We perform plays at retirement homes, schools and other RCSC clubs for a small fee.

Club helps members perform in public, we learn to act, performing skits and monologues without needing to memorize the lines. We have a close working relationship with the Sun City Players Community Theatre and many members have gone on to perform in plays and musicals for the SCPCT.
