Assistant General Manager Report – January 2017

General Information

  • The four hollow metal doors for on-course restrooms (two at Lakes West and two at Quail Run) have been installed. Contractor was D.H. Pace (cost – $3,961).

Sundial Center

  • All Parking lot light poles and fixtures are currently being replaced. The new LED fixtures will produce more light and greatly improve parking lot conditions. Contractor is Accel Electric (cost – $34,134).

Bell Center

  • A new Facility Attendant Welcome Desk is being installed in the fitness lobby. Contractors are Lee’s Countertops and the RCSC Skilled Trades cabinet maker (estimated cost – $4,500).
  • New parking lot handicap signs and posts are being installed in the east lot. Contractor is the RCSC Skilled Trades Facility Maintenance Technician (estimated cost – $1,800).
  • A trench drain is being installed at the north end of the metal shop to divert water away from the building. Contractor is Ken McIntyre Construction (cost – $3,847).
  • The Visitor’s Center moved to a temporary building on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 so the RCSC could remodel the permanent Visitor’s Center. The remodeling work is moving along nicely with drywall and painting completed. Drop-in ceilings and lighting is currently underway. Project completion is expected in early February. General Contractor is Ken McIntyre Construction (cost – $132,152).

Marinette Center

  • Seal coating and restriping of the south parking lot at Marinette is now completed. Contractor was Regional Paving (cost – $5,125).
  • Vertical blinds were installed over three auditorium windows, over two facility attendant windows and over two west facing windows in the fitness center. Contractor was Budget Blinds (cost – $4,788).

Skilled Trades Department

  • The RCSC Skilled Trades Department completed 338 work orders during the last two weeks of December 2016 and the first two weeks of January 2017.
