Building and Infrastructure

Marinette Center

  • Some roofing repair and re-coating will be done on the Marinette roof. This work is scheduled to be done mid-June 2017. Contractor is Gryphon Roofing (cost – $15,060).

Willowcreek / Willowbrook Pro / Maintenance

  • The Willowcreek/Willowbrook/Skilled Trades maintenance building is completed, other than some shade canopy installations and some punch list work. Both golf maintenance and Skilled Trades moved into the new building in late April 2017. Contractors were Doege Development, CCBG Architectural and Bunger Steel (PIF Cost – $1,881,825).

Bell Center

  • Renovation of the Bell Lanes east restrooms are well underway with demolition, electrical rough-in, removal and replacement of rusted-out sewer lines and drywall completed. The completed renovation will include new drywall, paint, wall tile, counter tops, toilets, urinals, lavatories, partitions, floor tile, LED lighting, exhaust fans and doors. Contractor is Doege Development (cost – $120,026).
  • Demolition inside the Bell Lanes restaurant commenced May 19, 2017. Remodel work will include the removal of the wall between the dining area and the server’s station and installation of a coffee counter similar to the one at George’s Lakeview Café. Other work includes several new appliances, cooking hood modifications, Ansul system modifications, new LED lighting, wall and ceiling repairs, re-roofing the shed and installing a door and several upgrades to the electrical system. Contractors are Doege Development, Accel Electric and Adobe Fire (cost – $162,589).
  • The Bell mini-golf course is being re-carpeted with artificial turf and is currently scheduled to open to cardholders on May 24, 2017. The course also received some new railroad ties on hole #3 and painting  where needed. Contractors were Baker Brothers Carpet, DVP Construction and Exquisite Painting (cost – $32,512).
  •  Bell social hall roof repair and re-coating will be completed in mid-June 2017. Contractor is Tremco, Inc. (cost – $12,660).

Sundial Center

  • The Sundial bocce courts renovation project is now completed and the eleven courts are open for use. Contractor was Ken McIntyre Construction (cost – $111,709).
  • A large horizontal sand filter will be installed, in late June on the warm water pool at Sundial. The new filter replaces two old Triton sand filters. This was originally scheduled for May. Contractor will be Aquatic Builders (cost – $24,450).
  • Sundial mini-golf roof repair and re-coating and is scheduled to be completed in mid-June 2017. Contractor for this work will be Gryphon Roofing (cost – $22,583).

Lakes E/W Pro / Talisman Hall

  • The Lakes East/West Snack Shop and Talisman Hall Roof is scheduled for repairs and re-coating in mid-June 2017. Contractor will be Starkweather Roofing (cost – $17,168).

Lakeview Center

  • Five Triton sand filters on the Lakeview pool will be replaced with a large horizontal sand filter in late June 2017. This was originally scheduled for completion in May. Contractor for this project will be Aquatic Builders (cost – $23,850).

Oakmont Center

  • The Oakmont auditorium and kitchen received new vinyl plank flooring and baseboard this month. Contractor was Resource Flooring of Arizona (cost – $20,302).

North Pro / Snack Shop

  • The North pro/snack shop parking lot crack-fill and seal coat was completed May 12, 2017. Contractor was Regional Paving (cost – $7,125).
  • The North Cart Barn roof will be repaired and recoated in mid-June 2017. Contractor will be Gryphon Roofing (cost – $7,019).

Fairway Center

  • Maintenance work on the Fairway indoor track was completed and reopened for use on April 26, 2017. Contractor was Dynamic Sports Construction (cost – $35,000).

Mt. View Center

  • Roofing repair and recoating of some roofs at Mt. View will be done in mid-June 2017. Contractor will be Tremco, Inc. (cost – $4,820).

Skilled Trades Department

  • The RCSC Skilled Trades Department completed 280 work orders during the last two weeks of April and the first two weeks of May 2017. The completion of these work orders was in addition to the team physically moving the Skilled Trades offices and shop to the new Willowcreek location. What a team!

Centers Operations

  • The Lakeview billiards room recently had three tables recovered along with the installation of new rubber cushions.
  • A number of new pieces of custodial equipment were purchased for the centers. These items include two Riccar vacuum cleaners for Marinette and Bell Lanes, a wide-area vacuum for Fairway, and two upright scrubbers to be shared between Oakmont Center, North, South, and Quail Run golf courses.
