Board fills two vacancies

The RCSC Board of Directors has selected James Brasher and Craig Brown to fill two vacancies on the board. Directors chose Brasher and Brown after interviewing six applicants for the two open seats. Both appointees will be officially installed during the Regular Board Meeting at 9am on Thursday, January 26 at Sundial Auditorium. The appointees will serve for the remainder of 2012.

Brasher is a retired colonel, having served in the US Army Dental Corps. He also had a private periodontal practice for eight years and worked as a clinic chief, administrator, teacher, consultant and lecturer. His goals for serving on the Board of Directors include furthering the goals of Sun City and maintaining its high quality of life for all residents, as well as working to attract new residents.

Brown previously served on the RCSC Board of Directors for three years, from 2008 to 2010. He has 35 years of experience in the insurance industry in claims and property-casualty insurers, the last 21 years in upper management or executive management positions. During his previous tenure on the board, he served as treasurer and also on Golf Advisory, Insurance, Legal Affairs, Finance, Budget & Audit and Lawn Bowling Committees. He is committed to Sun City and the current and future residents of the community in maintaining an affordable and desirable lifestyle.
