NOMINATE YOUR FAVORITE PADDLE BOAT NAME!
The water is rising at Viewpoint Lake, and we are preparing our four NEW paddle boats for your enjoyment. Sadly, our older boats needed to be replaced after more than a decade of enjoyment. The new paddle boats can be used by Cardholders/Members of the RCSC to enjoy peaceful trips around the lake. To use the boats, you can check in to the mini golf booth at Lakeview Center, where an RCSC Staff member will set you up.
We need to name our new paddle boats – do you have a name that you think will be perfect for one of the boats?
Send your ideas or vote from one of your favorite nominations below by emailing us at blucas@suncityaz.org, or coming in to the Sun City Visitors Center at Bell and 99th Avenue to submit your name in person or posting on one of our social media sites. In honor of the old paddle boats, we will nominate their names as well!
Once we receive all of the name suggestions, we will start voting next week for your favorite names by a variety of methods – stay tuned for voting instructions. Please note that we will only accept appropriate names for the boats. For those who know about boat naming superstitions – we are not renaming these paddle boats – we are giving the new boats their first name so we can christen them for your fun use!
