Dear Golfers:
Effective July 1, we will be adding additional straight sheets to our current rotation on a trial period. The added straight sheet days will give additional options throughout the summer to those golfers who prefer a straight sheet. The trial period will last through September. We are attempting to strike a compromise between those golfers who prefer straight sheets and those who play in organized groups that prefer double tees. Both groups are integral to the long-term success of RCSC. The trial period will allow time for feedback to be collected for review by the Golf Advisory Committee, when they reconvene in September.
North will utilize a straight sheet on Thursdays. Monday will have a straight sheet on a rotating basis, until September, at which point Riverview will switch to straight sheets. In addition to adding straight sheet days we will also begin tee times at 6am on the days straight sheets are utilized. This will provide those early morning golfers an additional half hour of “beat the heat” tee times.
The straight sheet schedule beginning July 1 will be:
Thursday – North
Friday – Willowcreek
Saturday – Riverview
Sunday – South
Mondays will be rotating; straight sheets will be on the following days and courses:
July 2 – North
July 9 – South
July – 16 Riverview
July 23 – Willowcreek
July 30 – Riverview
Aug 6 – Willowcreek
Aug 13 – South
Aug 20 – Riverview
Aug 27 – North
Mondays in September, Riverview will have a straight sheet.
